- My company's website and emails are being hosted by Singnet Business Web Solution (BWS). Can I still migrate to Google Apps™?
Yes, definitely! We have successfully helped a few of our customers to migrate from Singnet's BWS to Google Apps™. A smooth-going process that does not take more than 3 working days, you can start using Gmail as your webmail immediately after migration. In fact, Web and Email hostings are value-added services from Singnet BWS already included in the monthly subscription charges for your Business Singnet Broadband.
- What if I do not have a website and hosting plan and my domain name is currently parked on a free DNS?
You can still use Google Apps although you will need to ensure the free DNS allows you to modify the domain's CNAME / MX Record. Alternatively, ARIGIN can host your domain for free and configure your domain for use with Google Apps.
- Is Google Apps™ Reliable for Business Use?
For the free Google Apps Standard Edition, there is uptime guarantee that your emails will be 100% safe and reliable. We normally recommend business users (like ourselves) to download the emails down with POP/IMAP using your preferred email client. This way, you can ensure "double backup" and "offline access" for all your emails. If you require a 100% network uptime, Google Apps is available in Premier Edition where each user account costs USD$50 / Year. Compare their features here.
